NYU TANDON CONVOCATION

Since 2010, NYFF Events has partnered with the Associate Dean’s Office to produce a dynamic, multi-day Orientation Week for over 850 incoming graduate students each year. Held in the university’s gymnasium, NYFF transforms the space to accommodate a wide range of programming—from structured training sessions and academic events to lively evening receptions. Throughout the week, our team provides full-service event production and management, including layout design, staging, lighting, audio/visual support, and on-site coordination. Highlights include a Welcome Reception, Faculty-Student Meet and Greet, and the BK Bash—an evening celebration featuring local Brooklyn talent. The series culminates with a formal Convocation ceremony on the final day. By reimagining campus spaces and seamlessly managing back-to-back events, NYFF ensures a cohesive, engaging experience that welcomes students into the university community with energy and professionalism.
