In July 2014, Times Square played host to the kick-off press conference that formally announced the rematch between ten-time, five-division World Champion Floyd "Money" Mayweather and former WBA Welterweight Champion Marcos Maidana.

The press conference began a country wide media tour for the Saturday, September 13th, 2014 blockbuster fight, which will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, live on Showtime PPV. Swanson Communications relied on the NYFF team to pull off the entire event in two weeks' time. NYFF secured the necessary approvals and provided the needed expertise to pull off a flawless event.
